To ensure a smooth and hassle-free flight, it's important to familiarize yourself with the flight rules, which are readily available on the airport's website. In the rules, you can find information about the transport of both prohibited items and dangerous substances - you can find out what can and cannot be put in luggage.

Prepare thoroughly for air travel.

At home, pack liquids in a resealable one-liter transparent bag. The maximum volume of one bottle is 100ml. If you don't have such a bag at home, it is possible, for example, to purchase one from the airport. It is also worth knowing that in the eyes of the security control, the liquid is not only flowing, but also a mixture of liquid and solid, for example, butter and pate.

Arrive at the airport on time.

The number of passengers at regional airports is also quite high, which can lead to queues. Queues can be long at small airports when everyone arriving for a flight comes at the last minute. Be at the airport at least one hour before your flight.

Do not put a power bank or spare batteries in checked baggage.

Power banks and extra batteries can short circuit, which is one of the biggest causes of fires in luggage compartments. To prevent the risk of fires, airlines have prohibited lithium-ion batteries from being carried in checked luggage. However, they can be safely transported in carry-on luggage.

Always take electronic devices and liquids out of your hand luggage at the security check.

When approaching the security checkpoint, ensure that all liquids are placed in a transparent bag and all electronic devices are readily accessible. Often this is not done, and scanning the carry-on may reveal that there is something in the bag that should not be there.

Take off jewelry that could set off an alarm and empty your pockets.

If you don't have jewelry on you or illegal things in your pockets, you can pass through the security gates without problems and without a more thorough check. Removing your shoes and belt before going through the security gate will speed up the security check.
